The Greatest Comeback
In Game 4, the Spurs led by 29 points with under 10 minutes remaining. What followed has been called "the most insane sequence in Finals history":
- A 24-0 run in under 5 minutes
- Three consecutive three-pointers from midrange
- A Karl-Anthony Towns buzzer-beater that sent Madison Square Garden into pandemonium
- Final score: Knicks 107, Spurs 106
The Knicks now lead 3-1. If they win Game 5, it ends a 52-year title drought — New York's last championship was 1973.
Game 5 Preview (June 14)
The Spurs return home to the AT&T Center in San Antonio. Victor Wembanyama — the 22-year-old generational talent — will be desperate to force Game 6. The Knicks' defence has to contain him.
Key matchup: Wembanyama vs. Karl-Anthony Towns. The two most talented big men in the league. This series will be talked about for decades.
